Female Lifeguard
(Selangor Cyberjaya)
- To assist the administration and management of MMU swimming pool.
- To ensure the cleanliness of the swimming pool water by measuring pH level from 7.2 to 7.8 for daily use and the quantity of chlorine for consumers safety before and after the operation time.
- Responsible for detecting the presence of algae, calcium, insect, dirt and discoloration of water suspended in the swimming pool.
- To monitor and take proper action during severe weather problem.
- To ensure water filtration systems function properly before the operation begins.
- Monitor discipline, ethics and consumer safety during the operation.
- Provide advice and excellent customer service to consumers before entering the swimming pool. Presents professional appearance and attitude at all times.
- To perform timely inspection and ensure the rescue and emergency equipment are always in good condition and ready to use when necessary.
- Always standby at the swimming pool, wears the provided uniform and bring all the safety equipment during working hours as part of duties as a lifeguard.
- Help manage the activities, sport events or any courses that require using the swimming pool.
Requirements:
- At least a Diploma or SPM or in any relevant field.
- Minimum 1 year working experience in related field.
- Applicant MUST certified as a lifeguard.
- Applicant with Scuba Diving License is an added advantage.
- Ability to react calmly and effectively in emergency situations.
- Skill in the application of lifeguarding surveillance and rescue techniques.
- Knowledge of CPR and emergency medical procedures.
- Able to work independently and diligent with minimum supervision.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills & possess good customer service skills.
- Fluency in English and Bahasa Malaysia both written and spoken preferred.
- Knowledge in MS Office is a must.
