Mechanical Design Engineer
(PenangBayan Lepas)
Responsibilities:
JOB OBJECTIVES :
- Provide equipment enclosure mechanical design and automated equipment design from Prototype to finished product for release to Manufacturing.
- Provide technical guidance on the design of machined parts, plastic parts, rubber parts, sheet metal parts, die cast extruded parts and wire harness.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Interact with Marketing to develop specifications for new product development.
- Design and fabricate prototypes i.e. mechanical enclosure and evaluate the performance of the prototype.
- Interact with customers in new product trials.
- Interact on multifunctional product development teams.
- Proactive in identifying design and technical challenges early in design stage.
- Create new, innovative and creative idea to solve technical challenges in Analog design.
Requirements:
- Possess a Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
- At least 3 years of working experience, preferably in design of plastic/sheet metal/rubber/die cast/extrusion/wire harness parts and heat sink.
- Good understanding on plastic/sheet/rubber/die cast/extrusion manufacturing process, prototyping process and secondary process.
- Working knowledge in electronics industry, biomedical and RFID industry will be an added advantage.
- Experience in designing automated semiconductor manufacturing equipment.
- Applicants must be willing to work in Bayan Lepas.
- Applicants should be Malaysian citizens or hold relevant residence status.
- Preferably Senior Engineers specializing in EngineeringMechanical/Automotive or equivalent.
- FullTime positions available.
SKILLS REQUIRED :
- Experience in Inventor CAD tool, precision tolerance control technique.
- Handons in assembly, problem anaylsis and solving.
