Metal Press and Die Set Operator
(West-Transportation provided)
Responsibilities:
- Involve in operating, setting up, troubleshooting and maintenance of press and die set machines
- Ensure mold products are manufactured correctly based on specific dimensions and capable of changing dies and making adjustments to die cutter.
- Getting raw materials (coils,etc) ready for production
- Doing packing jobs
- Ensure a safe and healthy work environment in the production area
- Proper housekeeping and maintenance of production equipment.
- Preferably have the knowledge of grinding and drilling by operating the grinding machine (Okamoto brand)
- Perform other duties as assigned by Supervisor
Requirements:
- NTC 3 in metal or precision engineering or min GCE 'N' / 'O' levels or SPM equivalent with 1 year progressive press and die set maintenance related experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds on a regular basis.
- Singaporean, PR Holders or Malaysians. Fresh school leavers will also be considered.
- Must be able to perform rotating shift work.
- 40 hours, 5-day work week (High OT. Extra hours are considered OT).
- Ability to speak and understand basic English.
- Able to handle & read Mitutoyo Micrometer and Vernier Caliper.
- Good measurement and inspection skill is a plus.
- Those with the following experience in Aida Press Machine Operation will be an added advantage though not neccessary:
- Able to read 3rd Angle Drawing.
- Experience in 5S working environment.
