Advanced Semiconductor Engineering Incorporated also known as ASE Inc. was founded in 1984 as an Independent Integrated Circuit Manufacturer. Today ASE Inc. is the largest independent semiconductor manufacturer in the world.
ASE Malaysia, the first off shore plant of ASE Inc. located on the island of Penang was established in 1991 to better serve the multinational companies located in South East Asia, and has been very successful so far in attracting over 50 customers in Malaysia. In March 1997, ASE Test Limited the worlds largest independent Integrated Circuit Testing House and the first Taiwanese company to be listed on Nasdaq acquired 100% equity interest of ASE Malaysia. This merger led to significant business synergy and new opportunities for both ASE Test and ASE Malaysia.
ASE is also a leader in providing "Turnkey" services, which allows us to offer customers one-stop manufacturing by combining packaging, testing, and drop-shipment services to the end-customer. ASE obtained certification from KEMA Holland for ISO9002 standards in April 1993; QS9000 in June 1998, ISO14001 in October 1999 and TS16949 in November 2004.

Industrial Engineer

- Plan and establish standards for equipment capacity
- Production layout and manpower requirement.
- Provide industrial engineering expertise such as simulation,
- Process mapping and work method study for productivity improvement projects.
- Develop capacity models for new products and maintain capacity models for existing lines
- Utilize lean to improve direct and indirect labor productivity
- Utilize systematic layout planning method in providing optimized factory layout design.
Requirements:
- Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Industrial / Mechanical/ Manufacturing / Electrical & Electronics).
- At least 2 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
- Lean manufacturing concept floor space layout designing using Auto Cad
- Creative and strong problem solving skills
