- Ensure availability of Livelink/Sharepoint application at all times and resolve all problems within targets as specified in the Service Level Agreement.
- Ensure any potential problems such as performance degradation; reliability and security issues are addressed proactively.
- Participate in identifying the root cause analysis of repeating problems and escalate to the responsible party for recovery and future prevention.
- Monitor problem/query resolution where necessary and ensure appropriate escalation actions are taken.
Requirements
- Bachelor degree or equivalent in IT/Computer Science/ Engineering and MCSE certification an advantage.
- Minimum 5 years' working experience of which minimum 3 years’ full time support experience.
- Excellent technical knowledge in either Windows OS (Windows 2000/XP/2003/Vista) , SQL server, Oracle and middleware.
- Experience in break/fix support activities for database hosting, web hosting, compute hosting, operating system support, backup support, monitoring, virus management, security, and other related hosting activities.
- Good understanding of server and storage technology, especially in the area of High Availability, SAN and ISCSI
- Good knowledge of troubleshooting skill on server/network/application.
- Experienced in ITIL standard process and best practices and experienced in ITSM tools
