The successful candidate will join our team as:
ANALYST PROGRAMMER
(Kuala Lumpur)
Responsibilities:
- Understand the business needs of users and translate requirements into effective design and programming specifications
- Evaluate and improve business processes along with the implementation of application systems
- Code and test programs using standard development languages, tools and coding conventions
- Update system documentation for changes effected
- Set-up, configure and maintain ERP & other business applications to meet operational requirements
- Provide first level application support to users on their business systems in different locations
Requirements:
- Higher Diploma or Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent
- More than 2 years' of related working experience
- Trained in software development tools, standards and methodologies
- Experience in developing business workflow applications
- Ability to cope fast changing technologies use in Domino/Web development
- Experience with mobile application development, client-server and web-based architecture, software performance benchmark and optimization and software security are desirable
- Required skill(s): JAVA, HTML, XML, Javascript.
- Preferred skill(s): MSSQL, Oracle, MySQL, Crystal Reports, Eclipse IDE, PHP, CSS, Ajax, Web Services
- Knowledge of Movex or other ERP systems is also an added advantage but not a pre-requisite
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to interact with users at all job levels
- Excellent problem solving skills, with drive to measure and improve existing processes and procedures
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision and able to perform in a team based environment
