Lead Specialist, Middleware Services
(Selangor Cyberjaya)
- Responsible for all daytoday WebSphere Application Servers and IBM HTTP Servers administration routine and performed constant monitoring for UNIX environments
- Provide support for upgrade projects rollout
- Provide WebSphere Application Servers and IBM HTTP Servers support on IBM Content Manager and IBM Work Flow application
- Ensure all tickets are closed within the SLA
- Provide documentation on related implementation, installation and guides for WebSphere Application Servers and IBM HTTP Servers
- Install, configure and support existing or new WebSphere Application Server and IBM HTTP Server environments, running on various versions and configurations
- Able to work closely with DB2 database admin and UNIX/Windows admin on application server performance monitoring and tuning
- Advise project team / system administrator/ application owners in WebSphere/IBM HTTP operation issues or all projects involving WebSphere /IBM HTTP infrastructure
- Provide support on WebSphere Application Servers/IBM HTTP Servers based on the received ticket and provide incident report
Requirements:
- Diploma/Degree in Information Technology or related field
- At least 4 years of working experience under Middleware services
- Familiar in WebSphere Application Server, IBM HTTP Server and Shell scripting
- Knowledge in managing IBM Content Management and/or IBM MQ Work Flow environments is a plus
- Basic system admin experience in UNIX/Windows environments with good analytical and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks with shifting priorities
- Team player with ability to lead a team and strong communication skills
