IT Specialist - Application Support (MGT002)
(Petaling Jaya)
Responsibilities:
- To provide 1st Level User Support for business and local applications via Country IT Helpdesk
- Escalate to 2nd Level User Support ie the Corporate Shared Services Centre on all business applications issues that cannot be resolved in 1st Level.
- Implement business application & roll out or upgrades within Peninsular Malaysia for PDA and POS applications
- To configure and setup handheld for upgrades or trouble shoot PDA application as well as setup POS terminals for roll outs
- Develop new in house applications based in user requirements and enhance existing in house applications
- Support and enhance internal and external datamart reports
- To liaise with vendor on third party applications for any issues or enhancements
- To conduct user training to users
- Requirements:
- Degree in IT/Computer Science or its equivalent
- At least 2 years of experience in developing applications using .Net, Visual Basic, SQL, Visio Studio and Ms Access
- Must be fast, independent and disciplined workers as well as a team player
- Must understand what it takes to provide a high service level in supporting internal and external customer
- Working experience in a trading and distribution environment is an added advantage
Able to travel and must own a transport
