Responsibilities:Digital IC Verification Manager
(Penang - Bayan Lepas)
- Lead the development and execution of a silicon verification team focused on deliverables that is company driven. Drive consensus on these priorities with the cross-functional engineering and business teams.
- Educate members of silicon verification on the critical role and importance of advanced research in the FPGA/Structured ASIC in terms of cost, efficiency, effectiveness and ROI to the company.
- Build support for ecosystem development for the organization’s priority issues and research agenda.
- Serve as an effective spokesperson before all venues and audiences including internal and external teams.
- Oversee the crafting and implementation of a communications strategy focused on the organization’s priority issues.
- Advance the silicon verification collaborative work on advanced research, talent development and benchmarking and setting a vision for technology advancement.
Requirements:
- BSEE/MSEE/PHDin an engineering or scientific discipline.
- At least 8 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
- Domain expertise in operations, quality, measurement, design and/or innovation.
- Outstanding leadership skills; an exceptional record of achievement, credibility and integrity.
- Experience attracting strong talent, and developing, inspiring and retaining a highly motivated team in a results-oriented, fast-paced environment.
- Significant understanding and knowledge of the silicon verification in Transceiver Protocols (Eg: PCI-E Gen2/3, CPRI, SATA, XAUI, SDI, SONET, SRIO, GPON, etc) and their issues. Knowledge in Digital Logic Design, VHDL/Verilog/RTL/TCL, SI/PI, Test/Measurement equipments and PCB is preferable.
- Ability to establish and maintain collaborative working relationships with team members, and external partners.
- Strong leadership acumen and the ability to skillfully and diplomatically drive diverse points of view towards agreement and consensus on priority issues.
- Outstanding relationship building and interpersonal skills.
- Strategic planning and budgeting experience and a record of achieving measurable results toward an organization’s objectives.
- Ability to forge strategic partnerships with organizations that share common objectives. A proven team builder and someone who can work effectively with other engineering and business.
- Ability to respond to short term, often unexpected, opportunities for critical business initiatives
- Expert negotiation skills.
