Solution Architect Consultant (Network)

Solution Architect Consultant (Network)
Work on a daily basis with customers (internal and external) or business partners to provide consultation design for networking environment. Provide Solution and keeping abreast with networking technologies, providing best practices solution and updated with the current technologies to provide solution for Customers.
Principle Accountablilities:
- To provide pre sales consultation services to sales team particularly in System Integration and network convergence solutions related to Telco, Network Infrastructure, Network Security, Network Management and Voice solution.
- To work independently in preparing all types of documentation, including proposal, technical consultation and presentation necessary to assist the sales team in proposing any network infrastructure solution.
- To work independently in preparing prototype and demo of networking solutions to potential customers.
- Liaise with overseas for additional information as and when necessary.
- Feedback information on sales opportunities to his/her manager for follow-up by sales team.
- To advise and guide customers on general environment condition, site preparation and ensure that customers’ requirements are adhered to.
- Continue to evaluate new products and to update manager / sales team in the competitive information or potential market for such products.
- Liaise with Business Partners or vendors to obtain information and pricing of networking and telecommunications products.
- Acts as a Project Leader or Project Manager in any assigned project, as well as to plan and oversee the delivery of projects to ensure that the projects are delivered as planned.
- From time to time, with manager’s approval, attend seminars for products and technology update.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Degree in Computer Science/Engineering or related fields with 5 years related working experience.
- Must have vast experience in networking solution and environment
- Possess at least one of the following Certification CCIE, CISSP, CSSP or Certified Data Center Engineer.
- Strong networking experiences in administration and configuration including TCP/IP, Routing protocols.
- Must be experienced in managing network devices, eg. Routers, Core, Switches and Firewall.
- Strong knowledge in WAN and LAN design, implementation and Management.
- Preferably with some server experience, eg. Blade Servers, VMWARE, VMOTION
- Able to work with minimum supervision, team player, matured, self-motivated, with good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong problem solving, negotiation and analytical skills.
