Account Manager - Contract

Account Manager - Contract
(Kuala Lumpur)
- The position is to provide account management services to the key Aisa Pacafic customers. The value add services include providing clear entry point into GS for key customer stakeholders, scheduled engagement for demand planning and strategic development of account as well as ad hoc engagements for project based and incident escalation type work :
- Primary focal point for communications regarding AIG Global Services products and services.
- Work with customer to develop and strengthen strategic partnerships. This requires knowledge of customer portfolio, services consumption, business plans and strategy.
- Provide proactive dialogue with customer in respect of service capabilities and technology direction
- Work at all levels throughout the customer organization(O&S executive, CIO, IT dept heads, directors, project managers etc)
- Participation in regular client planning and review meetings
- Understand technologies in use and assess inter-dependencies and requirements
- Work with various internal groups to prioritise and resource projects
- Act as escalation mechanism to resolve service and support issues
- Prepare ad-hoc management requests for status and plans
Requirements:
- Experience
Knowledge and Skills :
- Minimum 6 years in an Information Technology domain or related support function including
- 2 years with a significant customer support component to the role
- Experience with resource , service level management, and vendor management
- Experience leading global resources and teams
- Advanced mainstream and emerging Information Technology knowledge
- Proven customer relationship and service delivery management skills
- Aptitude for complex problem solving, influencing through communication and presentation skills
- Broad knowledge of IT infrastructure technologies including: networks, security, mainframe and open systems
- Good project management and process skills
- Good knowledge of appropriate governance frameworks including Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) framework and practives
