INFRASTRUCTURE SPECIALIST
(Selangor)

Responsibilities:

• Supervision & administration of data centers operation.
• Ensures upkeep of Disaster Recovery Plan/Business Continuity and execution of scheduled failure tests.
• Provides administration, installation & support to server/virtual servers/networking/key applications.
• Serves as a consultant to the Management team.
• Serves as a liaison between the Management and key vendors on product or service sourcing/project scope/work packages/work assignment/delivery & implementation/hand over.
• Conducts regular review of infrastructure/processes/security of the site.

Requirements:

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma or Professional Degree in any field.
• At least 3 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
• Preferably Senior Executives specializing in IT/Computer - Network/System/Database Admin or equivalent. Job role in IT Executive/MIS or Network/System Engineer.

• Degree in IT or equivalent.
• Preferably those certified with MCSE and/or MCSA with CCNA.
• Certification in PRINCE2 Foundation or Practitioner will be an added advantage.
• Good exposures to preparation and/or administration of Disaster Recovery & Business Continuity.
• Proficiency in Microsoft ISA/Firewall/Proxy/VPN/IDS/IPS.
• Experience in installation, administration and supporting IIS/web site and Lotus Notes/Microsoft Exchange/Google App.
• Advanced knowledge of administrating/managing/supporting large internet connecting network of 1,500 nodes.
• Advanced knowledge of server virtualization technologies (e.g. VMware ESX3/3i/Server/Vsphere4, Microsoft Virtual Server/Hyper-V, etc.) in both Microsoft Windows & Linux (RedHat, Fedora, CentOS, etc.) environment.
• Good working knowledge of HP and EMC SAN, CISCO networking technologies, including administration of VLAN, core switch, floor switch, router, etc.
• Knowledge in hotel applications (e.g. Micros-Fidelio OPERA, Micros POS 3700/9700, DELPHI S&C, Micros Materials Control, Exact/Orisoft HRMS, Timelox, Sapura/JDS call accounting system & Communication Centre, etc.) will be an added advantage.
• 2 Full-Time positions available.
