- Actively gathers information on the customer and the customer’s requirements
- Identifies cross-Group business opportunities
- Creates additional business opportunities out of the ongoing project
- Examines the bid costing in terms of financial efficiency
- Performs incoming order costing
- Ensure that all planning elements are included in the bid phase
- Ensures that the results of the risk assessment are taken into account in contracts and in costing
- Throughout project life cycle, identifies and assesses all risk factors utilizing available Divisional checklists
- Negotiates with stakeholders on Change Requests and incorporates them into contracts
- Involves the project team in the identification of claims
- Assesses contracts in term of claim-relevant significance, ensures examination by legal expert
- Identifies and mitigates external claims at an early stage
- Selects qualified subcontractors in a timely and manner based on strategic viewpoints
- Negotiates based on defined requirements with subcontractors/partners and enters into back-to-back agreements in alignment with customer contract
- Leads the project within the defined time, budget and quality framework to the satisfaction of the customer
- Develops and implements controlling measures
- Manages acceptance of delivery units and services, performing quality controls
- Agrees targets with project staff, deploys staff in a focused manner and delegates defined responsibilities and authority
- Seeks and actively utilizes sources of information, knowledge and experience with a view to applying them project-specifically and entrepreneurially
What do I need to qualify for this job?
- Diploma /Degree in Electrical / Electronics Engineering
- 3-5 years experience in processing / engineering / commercial activity with varying duties
- At least 1 year of responsible cooperation in Group-external customer projects
- Experience in managing a team for at least 1 year
- Basic knowledge in contract law with advanced knowledge of economics in project business
- Proficient in written and spoken English
- Advanced understanding of health and safety working practices
