Software QA Engineer
(Penang - Bayan Lepas, Penang)

Responsibilities:

• Perform software testing of web-based application (cross browser capability)
• QA testing on web-based applications, web infrastructure (content management,portal, translation management, etc.), and/or business applications (ERP / Sales / Distribution / Costing / Pricing
• Use current documentation of test process and formalize as released procedures in document control system.
• Shadow test team and document process flows and test procedures (that are currently not documented).
• Work with business team to ensure traceability process is adequate.
• Raise of all issues found during testing and to work with the Development and Integration Teams to track those issues until resolution

Requirements:

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Engineering (Computer/Telecommunication), Computer Science/Information Technology/Information Systems or equivalent.
• Basic knowledge of software testing on web applications.
• Working knowledge of one or more of the following knowledge: HTML, XML and Javascript.
• Knowledge in HP Quality Centre and QA working experience would be an added advantage.
• Possess excellent communication skills, with an emphasis on verbal and written communication in English.
• Capable to read and understand technical specifications.
