Senior Programmer
(Kuala Lumpur)
- Creating, defining and choosing an application framework for the solutions. Subdivide the solutions to manageable components and defining the interactions and dependencies among these components.
- Providing detail technical and functional specification based on requirement specification and design analysis.
- Developing application within time, functionally and ‘fit for purpose’ according to the requirement specification using industrial best practices on software development lifecycle and techniques.
- Qualify codes according to test methodology.
- Highlight any issues that can become problematic to development and suggest pre-emptive options or alternative solutions.
- Senior Engineer is responsible to monitor, lead, support and coach a team of engineers to ensure the effective development of projects entrusted and on-time delivery.
Requirements:
- Engineering Degree qualified (Computer Science/Information Technology/Computer Engineering/Electronics Engineering preferred).
- At least 3 years of relevant working experience in Software Engineering spectrum.
- Knowledge in C, C++, C#, MFC and familiar with software development cycle/design and object oriented design.
- Knowledge in the following programming language would also be considered:
- C# and VB.Net
- Web programming, inclusive ASP or ASP.Net programming, scripting languages such as PHP
- Java programming
- Having experience or knowledge in the following would be added advantage:
- Developing applications for mobile phones, PDA and embedded systems
- Knowledge in payment industry (EMV Level 1, Level 2, MEPS, Financial Messaging)
- SmartCard (ISO7816), Contactless Card (ISO 1443), Biometric, Wireless Connectivity (GSM, Bluetooth, Wireless LAN and WIFI)
- Familiar with Microsoft Visual Studios and CVS.
- Result driven, possess strong interpersonal skills, creative and openness to change.
- Able to work with minimum supervision as well as able to contribute to team development and within tight deadlines.
