Responsibilities:
- Provide engineering design and guidance, along with existing team members, to advance product definition
- Solve complex problems where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of multiple factors and tradeoffs
- Prepare 3D models for new or modified product or equipment, working from concepts, verbal discussions, and e-mail.
- Provide hands-on skills to help produce necessary prototypes, follow product through prototype production to insure proper design, use of equipment and workability of product
- Work with engineering and production personnel to develop and maintain critical manufacturing processes, tooling, test fixtures, and documentation. Study and investigate production and manufacturing processes and applied knowledge in product design work
Requirements:
- Bachelors in Engineering; advanced degree preferred
- Min 6 years experience in R&D projects
- Knowledge of methodological product development with CAD/CAE tools
- Must be proficient in 3D modeling utilizing Solidworks or equivalent
- Expertise in preparing a system tolerance analysis
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Experience with MS Office applications
