Systems Engineer
(Position to be based in Singapore)

Responsibilities:
- Instruct, plan, assign and direct work of subordinate personnel and establish priorities to ensure timely job completion.
- Estimate product costing and development timelines. Achieve/meet set targets on a consistent basis
- Involve in cross-departmental business case determination for new products or additions to existing products
- Overall technical responsibility for the product development process, conceptual design, and product change management
- Responsible for maintenance of all product and engineering documentation
- Maintain all relevant product and test standards
- Assist in component sourcing and vendor management
- Support product development testing process (test lab) of the PQA
- Prepare and present technical status reviews
Requirements:
- Bachelors in Engineering; advanced degree preferred
- Min 10 years experience in R&D projects
- Excellent expertise in the systems and components development of mechanical or electro-mechanical products
- Sales-oriented, strong re-engineering abilities, innovative power
- Operate very closely with the customers (Sales, PM, Factory, etc.)
- Experience in team leadership and management,
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Comfortable negotiating tolerance specifications with Vendors
