Assembly/Wafer Process Engineer
(Kedah - Kulim Hi-Tech Park)
Responsibilities:
Assembly Process:
- In charge of related Assembly process areas.
- To support and process related material changes and coordinate on MLAR.
- Yield, quality and cost improvement activities based on internal and customer related issues.
- Plan and drive improvement projects (cycle time, productivity etc).
- Qualification and setup of new machine and materials
- New line or product setup and qualification.
- Perform failure analysis and troubleshooting of the process and yield related issues, which includes corrective actions and prevention actions.
- To coach and provide technical assistance to supervisor, technicians and operators during daily production run and trouble shooting.
Wafer Process:
- Process Sustaining and Continuous Improvement.
- Productivity, Quality and Yield Improvement.
- Qualification and setup of new machines and materials.
- Transfer new process recipe from Japan and its implementation.
- Perform correlations of the equipment and maintain the accuracy.
- Training of all the relevant personnel in order for them to achieve the required capability to perform their necessary and duties.
- Documentation and generation of manuals and procedures.
- Perform failure analysis and troubleshooting on the process and yield related issues, which includes corrective actions and prevention actions.
- Cost saving and cost reduction.
- Able to certify the manufacturing engineers and technicians in doing their duties for their in-charge process.
- Able to shut down the production line in the case of any process and yield related issues prior superior approval or consent.
- Representing the department in equipment/process buy-off.
Requirements:
- Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Electrical / Electronics / Mechanical / Mechatronics / Manufacturing), Physics or equivalent.
- Candidate with working experience in Assembly Process or Wafer Fabrication Process such as Etching, Photolithography and PVD /CVD thin film deposition would be an added advantage.
- 1 to 3 working experience in high volume manufacturing industry is preferred for Wafer Process position.
- Possess good attitude, good team player and able to work independently.
- Fresh graduate with positive attitude towards work are encouraged to apply.
