POSITION DESCRIPTION:
Web Designer
To meet market demand we are expanding our software development & support centre in Malaysia and would like to invite you to apply for the position of Graphic Designer in our company. Working in a key position within a team of Project Manager, Technical Lead, Business Analyst, Developers and Infrastructure Engineer, this role requires flexibility and initiative. Working for a expanding company there needs to be significant resourcefulness and the right skills and attitude are the most important factors.
Requirements :
- Relevant qualifications in graphic design, multimedia design or equivalent
- Demonstrated high level graphic design and communication skills; at least 3-4 years experience in web design role is required.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills and ability to achieve goals within tight timeframes and coordinate the completion of multiple tasks.
- Experience in web site design including detailed knowledge of HTML and CSS. Flair for creative and conceptual design.
- Experience developing web pages complying with accessibility guidelines.
- Strong UI knowledge.
- Competency in the use of software such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Fireworks, Dreamweaver, Image Ready and Flash [with strong knowledge of actionscripting).
- Adobe Flash experience is a must.
- Knowledge of CMS a plus.
- Demonstrated skill of Javascript, HTML, XHTML, CSS a must.
- Applied knowledge of jQuery, ASP, .Net and PHP is an advantage
