Goal
Develop and support user interface applications, communication protocols and database management for Ismeca handlers (Semiconductor industry).
Job Description / Responsibilities
You will be part of a growing team of software engineers that is developing new applications and supporting actual applications related to machine user interface for Ismeca clients.
You will be required to:
- understand client requirements for GUI/communication interface and create specifications based on these requirements
- conduct feasibility studies based on such requirements.
- design and develop software applications based on given requirements and specifications.
- test and qualify such applications (both internally and at client site)
- support and train clients and service engineers on such applications.
Requirements:
- Degree in engineering in related fields (computer science, electronics, knowledge on automated systems or equivalent).
- Automation industrial experience is an advantage.
- Expertise inC# software development.
- Expertise inVB software development is an advantage.
- Good knowledge of UML, design patterns and OOP methodologies.
- Sharp problem solving skills and innovative.e
- Hardworking and able to handle projects under high pressure.
- Willing to travel up to 30% of your time.
- Willing to be stationed in Swiss R&D headquarters for at least 2 months for initial training/first development.
You will be required to demonstrate and prove your skills on applying for the post. A series of very technical interviews will be held where you will be practically demonstrating these.
