IT Computer Operation Executive

IT Computer Operation Executive
(Selangor - Shah Alam)
- Acts as the first-line problem solving reference point, addressing Data Centre issues as they occur and escalating problems
- Supervises and participates in shift-based activities relating to the monitoring, troubleshooting, and maintaining the operational status of the Data Centre that supports and enhances the business processes and the availability of online services.
- Ensures regular Data Centre maintenance is delivered, either under warranty or a maintenance contract.
- Ensures optimum operating status and retain Data Centre asset value.
- Participates in the development, testing and implementation of Data Centre disaster recovery plans to ensure safe custody of information in the event of failure.
- Ensures Data Centre activity logs are maintained in order that incoming shift as full knowledge of operational status and the history of any existing or remedied problems.
- Applies and enforces Data Centre security access procedures to the safety, operation, and confidentiality and integrity of Data Centre systems and data.
- Conduct Data Centre security audits as per business needs, requirements, and approval.
- Prepares and maintains documentation, technical reports, and provides follow up status on data centre activities and tasks assigned.
- Performs other duties as assigned by Computer Operation Manager.
Requirements:
- Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree or Professional Degree in IT related courses and/or have relevant experience in Information Technology service delivery.
- At least 2 years working experiences in supervising the data centre operation.
- International Certifications is preferred.
- Resourceful, assertive, independent and able to offer solutions.
- Highly committed and able to work under high-pressure environment.
- 5 days a week from 8:00am to 5:00pm including weekend and public holiday.
- Must be able to work or standby during off office hours.
