IT Security Analyst (6 months contract)

IT Security Analyst (6 months contract)
(Kuala Lumpur - Technology Park Malaysia, Bukit Jalil)
- Engaging with the Business Risk Owner to agree the scope and characterization of the system being assessed
- Identifying and agreeing team members who will be involved in performing the assessment
- Performing and agreeing the Business Impact Assessment
- Performing and agreeing the Risk Assessment
- Performing and agreeing the Control Selection
- Preparing gap assessment templates for Standards and CODs
- Gathering current state information for system configurations and security related processes
- Recording and analysing the current state information
- Assessing and making recommendation for risk treatments (remediations and exceptions)
- Preparing the Security Case for remediation
- Communicating the results
Security Skills :
- Intimate and up to date knowledge and experience of world class IT Security methods and best practice with strong experience working within IT Security.
- Experience in a Compliance, Risk or Audit role.
- Experience of working in a complex geographical/functional matrix organization.
- Ability to put business challenges against proposals, and to assess their long-term business value.
- CISSP/CISA/ISO27001 preferred
Requirements:
- Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, any field.
- At least 5 - 10 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
- Applicants must be willing to work in Technology Park Malaysia,Bukit Jalil.
- Preferably Senior Executives specializing in IT Security or equivalent.
- Only Contract positions available. Contracts will be renewed depending on projects requirements.
