Collection Manager X 04 (APAC, Japan, India)

Responsibilities:
  • 02 X Collection Manager (APAC)
  • 01 X Collection MAnager (India)
  • 01 X Collection Manager (Japan)
  • Assign, review and revise collector’s portfolio to ensure even distribution of workload
  • Develop and administer collection strategies for collection team
  • Monitor collections due from Partners and to initiate follow-up, where appropriate
  • Provide timely reporting and analysis that brings awareness of issues, risks and opportunities to management’s attention
  • Provide process improvements to collection and reduce receivables including clearing credit balances
  • Assist implementation of process improvements
  • Monitor collection processes and/or data quality checks and policies compliance.
  • Log and resolve collection disputes within stated SLAs (to be established).
  • Provide support and assistance during systems UAT.
  • Perform various other duties as required or requested by Management

Requirements:
  • Diploma/ Degree holder in Accounting / Finance / Commerce. Non- degree holders with substantial experience and right attitude will be considered.
  • Demonstrated ability to deal effectively and professionally in a rapidly changing, fast-paced environment, as well as working independently to meet goals and deadlines will be highly desirable
  • Demonstrate advance competence with MS Excel
  • Experience with SAP will be an added advantage
  • Proven ability to work to tight deadlines whilst maintaining accuracy
  • Strong interpersonal skills  with ability to maintain constant contact with clients
  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbal and written
  • A high level of Collection understanding & good knowledge of SOX compliance preferred
  • Flexible around working hours during specified key periods
  • A team player
  • Minimum 4 to 5 year experience in collection supervision preferably with regional collection experience
