Java Development Manager/ Solution Architect (Java)
(Kuala Lumpur)
Responsibilities:
- Translate business requirements into technical and system specifications.
- Functional spec requirement studies, analysis, planning, design, prototyping and solutions.
- Documentation of the technical design specification.
- Responsible to supervise, motivate and train application team engineers. Technical leadership of software projects and communication
- Evaluate architectural and system impact
- Willing to work with engineers to help up on problem analysis/ finding, performance tuning, internal testing anddebugging.
- Work with project team to handle the project/task, to do the system architecture design, schedulemanagement, resource allocation
- Work with project team, to help up with the project implementation, including UAT and deployment.
- Work with product team to jointly improve the services to cater for dynamic trends and business requirements.
- Ensure projects are completed within time line.
- Ensure system delivery meets business requirements.
Requirements:
- Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma or Professional Degree in Engineering (Computer/Telecommunication) or equivalent.
- Those from telecommunications background is a plus
- At least 6 years of JAVA development experience.
- Strong in Java skills and object oriented design experience, software architecture, design patterns and OO methodologies
- Strong skills with JAVA Web based and stand alone java application development. Practical experience in J2EE and RIA/ Adobe Flex development. Others include JSP and Servlets, Spring framework, iBATIS, Hibernate
- Strong skills in Mysql database and Sql statement design OR Oracle RDBMS
- Understanding of modern Agile software development methodologies like Scrum/ XP
- Experience in Unix Scripting and knowledge in Unix Operating System
- Driven to exceed expectations
- Strong leadership, self-motivated, team player.
- Able to work closely with all level of people
