We would like to invite dynamic, motivated and results-oriented individuals to fill the following position.

Assistant Manager, Product Development / Chef
Location : Kuala Lumpur

Key Responsibilities :

  • Develops and manages the implementation high quality fresh food and locally sourced beverages products by working directly with our vendors.
  • Maximizes profitability by increasing turnover and controlling costs.
  • Monitors and analyzes product data by reviewing sales, return on investment and profit and loss.
  • Leads competitive product reviews such as tasting and competitive shopping.
  • Prepares communications, spreadsheet analysis and product specifications to support implementation of new marketing programs and products.
  • Leads & manages the food / beverage (locally sourced) product development process from start to finish

The ideal candidate should have:
  • Diploma in Culinary Arts or Hotel Management
  • Minimum 3-5 years experience with at least 2 years in supervisory or similar level (Chef de partie / Sous Chef or Product Development). Preferably with Ready-to-Eat (RTE) pastry and dessert background
  • Sound analytical skills and intermediate user for Excel Spreadsheets
  • Able to communicate clearly and concisely, orally and in writing
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Able to work independently and part of a team
