Junior System Engineer - Network
(Kuala Lumpur)

Responsibilities:

  • Level 2 support of global network infrastructure including but not limited to MPLS, frame relay, VPN, point-to-point, and ISDN circuits, routers, switches, gateways, DNS, IP Control, firewalls, and voice systems.
  • Proactively monitor and manage of all network communication equipment (routers, switches, modems, UPS etc)
  • Proactively monitor and verification of network availability via SMARTS console.
  • Coordinate with vendors and onsite technicians to identify and resolve network incidents.
  • Real-time troubleshooting, fixing and escalation of Network incidents.
  • To create, update and resolve network related incidents logged into the Helpdesk Ticketing System (Remedy).
  • To create and coordinate for Change Management records for circuit maintenance, hardware replacement, etc.
  • To ensure activities are followed up across shifts.
Requirements:
  • Candidates who possess CCNA / CCNP certificates are very much preferred
  • Willing to work on 12 x 7 shift
