PIGEON MALAYSIA (TRADING) SDN BHD was born as the result of acquisition of 100 % shares from the shareholders of MAYA TOBA SDN BHD. The Company became a wholly owned subsidiary of Pigeon Corporation, Japan which is listed on the Main Board of Tokyo Stock Exchange and is principally involved in distribution and wholesale of baby products under the brand name “Pigeon”. Since its acquisition, the Company has continued its growth and the brand “Pigeon” has developed a strong brand presence in Malaysia and also in other countries such as Singapore, China and the US. In line with our business expansion and growth, we invite suitable candidates for the position of a Logistic Manager who would play an important role in supporting the warehouse function of the company as well as to grow with the evolving challenges of the Company.

Logistic Manager (Subang Jaya)
(Based in Subang Jaya, Selangor)
Responsibilities:
(Inventory & Costing)

  • Control, plan and manage store operation.
  • Ensure timely overall compilation of inventory data for monthly inventory revenue and cost accounting closing in financial books.
  • Provide inventory revenue and cost performance analysis report to the product and management team for review of product performance.
  • Plan, organize, co-ordinate monthly stock-take reconciliation.
  • Ensure smooth flow of Inventory system and process flow by liaising or co-ordinating with product, logistics and operation teams to ensure established accounting procedures are followed.
  • Review revenue and cost recognition policies and existing system processes to ensure adherence to standards/regulations and to improve process efficiency.
  • Control, plan and manage Purchasing Department operation.
  • Control incoming stocks for territory and outgoing stocks for exporting countries.
(Reporting) 
  • Responsible in preparing and ensuring timely submission of monthly and quarterly inventory report.
  • Working closely with local finance and operation teams to understand business environment and fluctuations, and highlight areas of concern to management.
  • Review reports from operating centers.
  • Review compliance with internal control procedures and policies.
  • Assist in identifying system weaknesses and establish/implement enhanced internal control.
  • Any other ad-hoc projects as assigned.
