Embedded Software Developer (Architect - Firmware)

- Product Development for TV Test and Measurement devices
- Requirement analysis, Design and Implement code for specified software components with close cooperation with the design team
- Software development of algorithm, data structures and driver modules for Hardware access and control for desktop and embedded systems
- Configuration management involving integration of software modules, performing functional and software testing as well as analyzing and eliminating errors
- Quality Assurance , maintenance and further development of existing software components in accordance to the company’s development guidelines
Requirements:
- Master/Degree in Electrical/Electronics/Communications Engineering
- At least 5-7 qualified years of relevant experience in object-oriented software design and programming in Visual C++
- Professional knowledge in software development methodology (scrum, agile) and design and usage of multitasking and real time systems
- Working knowledge in network programming (TCP/IP, SNMP, JAVA, HTML)
- Proficiency in debugging and administrative tools (e.g. ClearCase)
- Understanding in TV technology , TV measurement and video analysis algorithm and knowledge of digital signal processing will be an advantage
- Dedicated team player with strong job commitment
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Periodic work attachment based in our headquarters in Germany
- Occasional travel to Germany is required
