Software Development Manager
(Penang)

Responsibilities:

• Lead and supervisethe team of software engineers in software development
• Manage projects by working closely with Technical team, Consultants and Q.A. to ensure on-time project delivery
• Work closely with Q.A. and Customer Service team in order to solve technical issue and manage customer change request
• Setup technical knowledgebase and enforce documentation including design, code and training guide
• Propose software development framework, design pattern and coding convention to improve software quality and speed of development
• Propose future proof technology to add value to existing products
• Train and guide team membersin programming and conduct code review as well asevaluate team member's performance
• Motivate and drive team members to higher levels of performance

Requirements:

• Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field.
• Preferablyat least 5 years of .NET & Java based enterprise application design and development experiences
• Be responsible, positive thinking, disciplined, determinedand energetic.
• Good problem solving, team collaboration and time managementskills
• Possess strong sense of ownership/accountability,  good communication and trouble-shooting skills
• Experienced in Struts, Spring, XML, RDBMS, Object/Relational Persistence
• Knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server* 2003/2008 and Oracle database is a plus.
• Experienced in Microsoft Visual Studio .NET, Microsoft Visual SourceSafe, WinCVS
• Applicants must be willing to work in Penangand travel internationally if required
• Applicants should be Malaysian citizens or hold relevant residence status.
