As part of our expansion plan, we invite ambitious, open-minded and driven individuals to fill the following position:

Head, Finance & Accounting Operations, Finance & Planning, Enterprise Transformation Services
(Kuala Lumpur)

Responsibilities:

  • Setting up the centralized Finance & Planning Finance & Accounting function and team.
  • Managing and guiding the staff in performing their day-to-day task.
  • Leading, establish, implement and managing the day-to-day Financial and Management Reporting to ensure accuracy and timeliness of reporting.
  • Leading in process improvement and departmental changes.
  • Leading and reviewing the processing of invoices, payments and cost allocation on accurate and timely manner.
  • To plan, drive and oversea the annual budgeting and mid-year review process.
  • To organize and facilitate the budgeting process with HOD to ensure the budget is achievable.
  • To plan, oversea and ensure the operational units are closely adhere to the budget estimates.
  • Oversee the month-end closing of accounts, such as accrual and provision process.
  • Standardizing and simplify the end to end finance and accounting operations workflow across the department to ensure facilitating in centralisation of Finance & Planning function.
  • To drive and lead in solving the accounting and reporting issues and queries raised by relevant authorities and internal customers.
  • To liaise with internal and external auditors on audit matters, tax agents on tax matters and Bank Negara or Compliance Authorities on statutory requirements and reporting.
  • Managing project by setting up the RFP, business user requirements, reviewing of Functional Specification and Statement of Work.
  • Undertake any other duties assigned by Management from time to time.

Requirements:
  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree or Professional Degree in Finance/Accountancy/Banking or equivalent.
  • 5 - 6 years relevant experience in a Financial Institution or Accounting Firm will be an added advantage.
  • Result oriented.
  • A good team player.
  • Actively involved in formulating and implementing new process improvement.
  • Strong command of written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia.
  • Good interpersonal skills and interact with people at all levels.
  • Computer literate.
