Assistant Vice President, Credit Analytics, Global Markets
(Kuala Lumpur - Menara Maybank)
- Provide credit opinions on one of the following segments of the fixed income universe; corporate debt issues, structured transactions, financial institutions and insurance companies.
- Perform detailed and in-depth reviews of a rated entity’s industry and its position versus its competitors and peers as well as its financial position and management.
- Prepare credit write-ups and present the findings to management for decision making.
Requirements:
- A recognized Degree in Accounting, Economics, Finance or Actuarial Science. Candidates with professional qualifications such as CFA, ACCA, CA or a Masters Degree in Business Administration or Finance from reputable institutions of higher learning are also strongly encouraged to apply.
- Minimum 4 years experience in credit rating agencies, fund management houses, stock broking firms, accounting firms, corporate banking involving credit or fund raising functions or corporate finance function in financial institutions.
- Possess strong analytical abilities coupled with strong written communication skills.
- A team player, able to work with minimum supervision and meet tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with clients and all levels of management.
